Q: When is Dawg Days: Jumpstart Summer Bridge?
A: Dates for Dawg Days: The 2021 program is six weeks long and runs from July 12th to August 20th.

Q: Will the Dawg Days: Jumpstart Summer Bridge Program be online or in-person?
A: We are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19 and we will update all applicants as soon as we know for sure what format the summer program will be. However, students can anticipate that coursework will be entirely online for the upcoming summer.

Q: How do I apply for Dawg Days: Jumpstart Summer Bridge?
A: An application for the program will be available in February 2021. Please visit our homepage at https://aetp.umbc.edu/first-year-experience/dawg-days-bridge/.

Q: What is the deadline to apply?
A: The deadline to apply for Dawg Days: Summer Bridge is June 1st. It is highly recommended that students apply early to ensure a space in the program. Space is limited for each of the academic tracks (Math, English, and General Education). Apply here!

Q: When will I be notified if I have been accepted for the program?
A: You will receive an email notification regarding your application after June 1st. If you are accepted, you will be asked to respond to this e-mail, confirming your course selection(s) and acceptance of the offer. More information for admitted students will be forthcoming after you accept your admission.
