How are you involved at UMBC or in the surrounding community?

I work as a TA for UNIV 101 and Science 100 as well!

What inspired you to pursue this role or to get involved?

I wanted to be able to help other students the way my TA helped me in class!

How do you believe you have made an impact through your work/involvement? 

I believe I’ve been able to help students better understand material as well as helping students get involved on campus! 

What advice would you give to another second-year student who wants to get involved or make an impact at UMBC or in their community?

Don’t be afraid to start! New things can be scary but once you get into it the worrying will disappear!
