Academic Expectations
- All participants will:
- Enroll in a Freshman Intro to the University (UNIV101) with other members of the floor
- Receive advising from DS LLC faculty and staff as well as staff from the Office for Academic and Pre-Professional Advising
- Engage in major and career exploration, service, academic, and research opportunities
- Create a collaborative learning environment on the floor
Additional Expectations
- All participants will:
- Engage in creating a strong sense of community and connection to both the LLC and the UMBC campus
- Connect with peer mentors (former DS LLC participants) on the floor
- Participate in social and cultural co-curricular opportunities
Summer Orientation
- All participants are encouraged to attend Summer orientation as soon as possible.
