Second-Year Seminar

UNIV 201: A group of students intently listening to their teacher

Second-Year Seminar (UNIV 201) is a one-credit seminar designed for students in their second year on campus. The purpose of this course is to assist students in furthering their academic success at UMBC while enhancing their personal and professional development. Students will explore meaningful career opportunities, grow their leadership skills, and enhance their connection to faculty, staff, and peers within their academic discipline and across the larger campus community.
