Cost of Attendance (COA) represents an estimate of the maximum costs a student might expect based on tuition and fees, housing, transportation, books and materials, miscellaneous living expenses, and loan fees (as applicable).

 

At this time, Summer 2025 Tuition rates have not been set. Please use the following Summer 2024 Tuition Rates for your preparation, but please note that these are subject to change and will be updated once Summer 2025 Tuition is finalized.

*All students receive the Maryland in-state tuition rate for the courses they take as part of Dawg Days: Jumpstart Summer Bridge. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this or any other University publication, the University reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees, and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the University and the University System of Maryland, Board of Regents. **Housing is OPTIONAL for Summer Bridge. You do not have to live on campus to participate but should expect to commute to campus 3-5 days/week. For more information, please see the Summer Housing Website.

Billing

The Dawg Days: Jumpstart Bridge costs will be billed in July with the start of the program and due August 20th. Extensions for the payment deadline are available.

Financial Aid

Financial aid is limited during the summer term. Students must be enrolled for summer courses through Dawg Days: Jumpstart and demonstrate significant financial need per the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to qualify for financial aid. Students with significant financial needs are those who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant. For more information, visit the Financial Aid Website.
